We started out the day with breakfast at Reveil Matin, Mimosas and breakfast and said goodbye to Kareen and the staff at Reveil Matin, my wife cried. Then off to Ace Hardware to buy material for a strap for our brand new suitcase, then off to Maho. We parked at Dinghy's Beach Bar, had a drink and then headed off on our last beach walk (this visit) on Simpson Bay. It is absolutely our favorite thing to do every time we are here. The 2 or 3 hours we are alone on the beach together is so special. It's such a big beach and yet you feel all alone. When we got to our turn around point I wanted a picture of Bernie and then of me with Simpson Bay in the background and a man from a resort walked down to us and said let me take a picture of the 2 of us. The Friendly Island.
Then we headed back to our starting point Dinghy Beach Bar. Along the way a couple approached us and said are you Whale Tail and I said yes. Mark and Tammy are TTOL members but she doesn't post to often, but says she she follows online all the time. We had a nice chat and they are staying at Mary's Boon.
Then back to Dinghy's Beach Bar. We are not promoting this place for any reason other than the fact we have found a beach bar that we are so comfortable with. The feeling is that of a real beach bar. The staff is wonderful. It is open air on almost 3 sides with a view of the beach and the airport. You can show up in your bathing suit and feel comfortable at the bar.

Then there is the food!! We ordered lunch off the special of the day menu.
We shared the Beef Kabobs - Steak and Veggie Kabobs, Creamy Polenta, Kalamata Olive Salsa, Roasted Parmesan Tomatoes with House Made Tzatiki. It was so good. My wife said it was the best meal she has had this trip. There was nothing left on the plate!! All this for $20 for 2 people.
It is now our favorite beach bar!!
We then headed off to say goodbye to Jesus the bartender at La Terrasse and then to the Driftwood for 1 last Rum Punch (Best on The Island) and a Supreme Pizza to go.
Now on the balcony enjoying a Carib and the pizza.
We Love Being Here. Don't want to go home tomorrow, but we must end this vacation now and will return in December for another adventure.

I enjoyed your reports immensely thanks for that. Safe travels back to the cold north! Today was a nice day here. And exactly how much jewelery did you buy to need another suitcase???😁😂

One ring only pretty much . The rest was clothing for us and gifts for family and friends. But thanks for piling on with everyone else. That's Ok 😁

Thanks for taking us along and your reports and pictures. Hopefully our paths will cross again next year. It truly was a pleasure to share a little island time together.

W and Mrs. W,

Thank you for taking the time to share your stay on island. It means a lot to so many of us

We will miss you again in December but will look forward to your journaling and maybe one of these years our trips will coincide again.

Safe travels……

Respectfully,

pat

Missing you already; fun time together. Trying to convince Don to get back in December. Bernie you look too happy considering it's last day.
