Hope you had a good flight home. Was Mrs. Whaletail wearing all her jewelry? I thought of her when Don bought me a necklace with the map of SXM.
And you are so right about those backpacks. First time in all our travels we saw JB tell a man who was attempting to shove a bag into overhead, that bag was too large and must be checked. What I really hate is when a person turns to stuff in a bag and hits me in the head with the large backpack they still have on their back.
"What I really hate is when a person turns to stuff in a bag and hits me in the head with the large backpack they still have on their back." Happens to me all the time I'm in an aisle seat. I've gotten to putting my hand up to block the bag or backpack.
"The airlines really need to address the carry-on situation." For sure. It not only fills the overhead bins more but slows down boarding and unloading.

American seems to do a pretty good job of it. Although we do fly first class (not bragging, just stating a fact), so we never have a problem. A few years ago, when we were flying domestically with my elderly mother in law, I was stopped as I boarded because I had too many items. One was hers, and when I explained that, they let me board.
bdeeley - It was 4 suitcases and 2 carry ons. Keep it coming guys
Seriously?! We stay for three weeks with carryon only. We check one small bag with liquids and consumables on the way down, but nothing coming home. Lesson learned from many years of bringing way too much!

To each their own. We check 4 and carry on 2 because we can at no charge in FC. We would do the same economy and pay the fees. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.
Question #13 some set of balls asking those questions!! The rest I can understand. They are looking at the demographics of who there market share is that travels to the island.
