Looking at the Soggy dollar's web cam. I see a lot of happy people having a good time on the beach. Am I the only one always attacked by bugs when walking on the beach at Jost?

Never had a problem. Do the bugs vary with the season? We're usually down late January/ early February ...

I can't say we've ever been eaten up by bugs at White Bay. Foxy's can be another story. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Shocked.gif" alt="" />

We were there on December 6th and I got eaten alive. Should have used bug repellent. No problem this year at Foxy's

I have gotten eaten BY BUGS (Bruce) at White Bay but I get eaten BY BUGS (Bruce) everywhere. One particular time was closer to dusk and I should have known better, Saildoggie's Nicole and I got it bad that trip.

I remember that, Nicole was miserable, we found Gold Bond ointment and Benadryl to be the most effective in making her more comfortable.

Laura, you can always pick up some gin locally before you travel and dab it on the ankles. I highly recommend: ![[Linked Image]](http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg265/ellmannbru/bvi%202008/beaverliq.jpg)

there is the same store name in Avon, Colorado at the base of the Beaver Creek Ski Resort. Laura, I knew exactly what you were talking about. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
