A couple of days ago at the SBR pool bar during happy hour a group of 3 time share owners here decided that yesterday was going to be drinks at the Anchor Bar pool. We were invited to go with them, under the threat that if we didn't go we would not be allowed at SBR happy hour pool bar in the future. So I emailed the Anchor Bar to make sure that the public were allowed in and got two responses saying it was all good. At the security gate house he held a piece of my ID (driver's license) and gave me a day pass.
The Anchor Bar is basically an Oasis for the mega yacht crew members, it has a pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, pool table and a couple of video games. Since nobody in our group ordered food I took a picture of the menu.
I took a walk along the road behind the mega yachts and have to say that they are really impressive at their size and luxury on these vessels. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take any pictures of these yachts up close 😕. But I did get to see Top Five ll up close. It is the yacht of the owner of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.
It a fun few hours spent somewhere new.

We went there last year and also the previous year. A nice diversion and relaxing atmosphere. We did eat there both times and it was pretty decent. Glad you enjoyed it.

Absolutely! Been there several times...hand over your ID which is given back on your way out. Have been there when almost nobody there and had great chats with bartenders, other times with a lively bunch at the bar. Love walking where the yachts are too, had great conversations with yacht crew and their stories too. Worth a visit!

Boucharda - Apparently so, just stop at the security gate and tell them that you are going to The Anchor Bar. I emailed the Anchor Bar and they said they would notify the gate house, but not necessary.
