LinkTo me, this is good news, as I believe that consolidation is the enemy of lower airfares. Spirit may not survive, but that's a different issue.

Agreed! And I definitely didn’t want to find my Jet Blue flights turned into Spirit flights!

Jenni--it would have been the other way round, I think. Jet Blue was going to be the one to survive. Regardless, to me it's good news.
