HI Everyone,
Thought I would give the heads up. Just saw a post from Cedric at Club O on Facebook. If you go early morning to reserve chairs you need to be back by 10am to pay for the chairs. At 10am they will remove your towel or marker from the chair and anyone can claim it. Works for me, thought people here may like to know. Just the messenger.

Sounds absolutely fair to me. This crap of reserving chairs without actually paying for them is ridiculous.

Sounds good to me! People were putting a flip flop or something tied around it. It's a conundrum for us next year down there. I don't wish to race over before 8:30 am every morning to get chairs & umbrella. People weren't coming back until near noon to sit. We've never seen it this busy maybe ever down there. They can't handle more on the beach.

Unfortunately the chairs you can buy easily portable to the beach are not comfortable to sit in for long periods of time & many too close to the ground to get out of easily.

The crew is setting up chairs and umbrellas til at least 10am. Then they come around collecting money. Sometimes I have paid after 11am because that's when I was asked for the money. So what happens if you get out of your chair just before 10 to talk to friends, walk the beach, go swimming or go to Perch Bar? Do you lose your chair?

I would think that given the circumstance that you describe, you would have a lot more stuff on and around your chairs versus just a towel or a noodle that was used to save the chair. It would be obvious that you were actually there and the guys would come back later to get your daily fee.
