Any update on the restroom facilities at Club O? Last February was pretty gruesome, one "outhouse" to accommodate hundreds, people were going behind the shipping containers. Anyone got an update?
It's in a different container from last year but only one open. It was clean with hand sanitizer but still the foot pump flush. People lining up. Also if you aren't there by 9 you will be lucky to get chairs. People are down there between 6:30 & 8 to put flip flops & ties on chairs. Very busy this year. The beach guys wouldn't be able to handle more chairs if they had them though.
Jeepers, were you there recently? When we were visiting in December, I jogged up and down Orient Beach most days, and there were very few people around between 7:30-8:30. Maybe they’d claimed their spots and were coming back later, or there’s a bigger crowd this time of year.
We left on Sunday. It's insane the numbers that are there now at club orient in the last two weeks! All over we haven't seen marigot as busy as it is now in many years! Last week we went over at 8 put towels on chairs went for breakfast & when we came back before 10 all chairs & umbrellas were taken. The week before there were 2 days we got there around 10 & none available. We had to park outside the entrance as the lot was overflowed. Very busy island from last January.
