Back home in Florida, after a glorious 10 days "back home" at Beachside Villas! All good things must come to an end, and our trip ended with what seems to be the usual travel 'bumps' these days--our plane left SXM 1 hour 45 minutes late, due to a mechanical issue. Thankfully for us, we did not have a connection. I'm sure that many on our flight missed their connection home last night..

Yes, I was thinking that if people missed their connection last night, they might have a really hard time getting home. We generally do the 3 1/2 hour drive to Miami, so we don't have to deal with connections.
