Never stayed at Orient, always on Dutch side. When the fresh mussels came in on Thursday, always went to Marigot marina or Cheryl and Andy's.
Does anyone know if any one of the restaurants on Orient has fresh mussels?
Thanks

Definitely not on Orient or tge z French side but we have always enjoyed the Fresh moules et frites at Marks. Delicious, huge serving and reasonably priced and served with all the bread you might want. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Yes. Mark's mussels are very good. Especially when you substitute the fries for pasta.

Not Orient, but Grand Case Beach Club on the French side had them last Friday and they were excellent, small and tender.

Hope Estates, right around the corner from Orient Beach. Not far from the traffic circle, by the cul de sac, on the way towards Grande Case.

9 Rue Barbuda - Hope Estate

Last May I was told that saturdays were when the mussels come to the island now, but i'm not sure if thats still the case.
I know Perch light has them, and probably some of the other O beach does as well.

Probably depends on where they come from and who the distributor is.

That's probably correct and come from the same place. Get there on Friday and serve Saturday?

I asked and they (Mark's Place) said they would be available Friday afternoon.....We arrived around 5p and they were going by us in crates. Excellent timing AND I had asked about going on Saturday and she said no problem IF they had any left...so Friday it was
