any updates as to the status of this place since Jimbo left. We have Valentine's Dinner Reservations and am wondering if the quisine is even the same now?

Probably better. Jimbo had some issues with the owner, patrons and servers. Different person behind the closed doors.

That spot was great way back when it was Saratoga but after awhile we stopped because of the smell from the lagoon . Also we had our Wedding Reception at Saratogo 35 years ago . It was top of line when John had owned and ran it . Blessings.

Noticed a lot more marketing of the place now. I am sure it was not cheap to build out and running through money by the bucket loads. Very nice decor but IMO you would have a be nuts or have a lot of crazy stupid Money to try to open a place like that on SXM. It just not a great location looking at a corner of the lagoon , view or beach front best. Wish them the best but restaurants biz on SXM is very difficult for a start up.
