Part of the information we received this time at Belair (we are here now) is a piece that explains why timeshare owners should not expect the same amenities as "hotel guests". I will expand on this when we get back home and expect to write to the folks in New York that collect our maintenance fees every year. Just wanted to give a "heads up" to other Belair timeshare owners.

We will be here until the 10th so we can chat next week.
It appears that some owners have requested some sort of compensation for some inconveniences they experienced and there is a printed response in the binder in your room.
As stated we can discuss all next week.

Augie,
I know you have been an owner for quite a while. We have considered the same thing. It seems that some of the resorts in SXM have taken a firm stand on their relationship with owners since ts sales have fallen and some are selling or just walking away from their ts.

Is there shampoo, body soap, and / or lotion in the rooms at Belair?

Sounds "interesting."
We will be arriving Jan. 17. Hoping it's relatively minor stuff.

Bath soap: Yes
Lotion and Shampoo: No
Grande Marche has both at prices comparable to USA.
