We havent been to SXM in about 4 yrs. We are trying to make creole sauce like some that we had there. Does anyone have a recipe they may have seen or found in SXM? Or other places in the Carribean?

Thanks.

Why do some people feel the need to post nonsense? If you have nothing constructive to say it is better to keep quiet.
Here s a recipe for the OP. https://www.seriouseats.com/creole-sauce-recipe
Scubaman needs to get DCS or an air embolism.

What a terrible thing to say, Candu. Follow your own advice.

Jazzgal--absolutely agree. I find it hard to believe that the same person made both those statements in the same post.

Looks like you did a Google search of your own to find this. Good for you. Many good recipes can be found by using that tool. clapping

Our favorite creole sauce is from Yvette's restaurant which has katsup manis in it. It is very simple to make from Yvette's cookbook, which I don't have with me. If anyone does have a copy you could list the recipe here then.

I have a Yvette’s cookbook, but can’t find a recipe with creole sauce. If you know the name of the dish, I’ll gladly post the recipe here.
