Yes, they are all individually owned.

Haven't been there myself in quite some time, but according to reports, they finally have the pool operational again and they have done maintenance to the exterior of the buildings, so the complex is in better shape than it has been since Irma.

Scubaman, there are several condos we are looking at, I was more interested in the overall place not a particular condo

I have not stayed there but I seem to remember threads in the past where people complained about the long walk from the parking area to their condo. If that concerns you I would verify it.

we stayed 1 year before Irma prices are great but we felt a little out of it (we usually stay in Orient Bay) having to drive all the time. One thing we found that some locations in the complex are better than others depending on getting bags into unit and how much you like to walk and available parking. In the beginning we walked to the village but after the 3rd day started driving. We are in late 60's and in ok shape but it can wear you out walking the length of the beach then up that hill. Views are great from pretty much anywhere but you can't stay on the balcony past 8:30 AM because of the sun

We stayed there on our first visit when it was a hotel and once in a VRBO rented by the Yoda guy pre Irma. Kitchen was small but adequate and not far to go to Orient Village.

Richard--Many people in the past have complained about the quality of the parking lots--muddy, rutted, etc. I have no idea of the current status of the parking. Also, as someone else mentioned, some of the units are inconvenient, in terms of many stairs to get there, etc.

Thanks for everyone's input, any suggestions that would be closer to Orient Village?

Lots of options in and around Orient Village. Check out Book St. Martin she has a lot of options. We stay at a place called Six Views. It has a cistern which comes in handy if the water is off.

I would suggest looking through properties on islandescapesxm.com and Blueoceanvillas.com. I have used them for properties just outside orient village and right off the beach. You also save the Vrbo fees that way.

While we enjoyed our stay at So chic villas this year and have nothing but positive comments, we did tour Neptune of Blue Ocean Villas and for the price don't think we could find a better bang for the money.

We probably spent too many hours researching villas / condos.
