The yachts of the very rich are starting to arrive in Simpson Bay for Christmas and the New Years party in St Barths. Kaos the yacht of the heir to Walmart, Rising Sun owned by David Geffen and Top Five II owned by the owner of the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. Wow are they big!!

that's one of the reasons we prefer to ferry over to SBH vs flying....passing between the the dozens of mega-yachts while coming in to the packed marina is pretty impressive

That reminds me, I need to buy a lottery ticket so I can fantasize about sitting on my super yacht.

Which one is the one on the right? I really prefer the older, classic looking ships. I would bet maybe it has teak decks.

Carol - It’s called Sherakhan and shows on Marine Traffic as a passenger ship. It wouldn't surprise me that it is here to pick up passengers and eventually head over to St Barths for New Years Eve. And before you ask Scuba no I will not be on board laugh
