The anchorage here is busy. No moorings in sight.

Made a dinner reservation at the wonky dog.

More later.

Dinner was very nice. We were the only customers and were treated special.

We started with a walnut salad.

The mains were turkey(with the fixings) for Christmas, a lobster and a pizza. Everything was nice. The menu is very different from the other restaurants at the anchorage. Our group was stuffed but we found room to share the Caramel desert which was yummy.

The facility is still under construction but they are very friendly serving nice food with great service.

I will go back on the next trip.

I may be wrong but all of the other restaurants serve the same food

The menus on Anegada are starting to change beyond the chicken, fish, ribs and lobster. neptunes and anegada Beach club have certainly seen that and adapted well. It wasn't too long ago that there were only 2 places to eat on Anegada, ARH and Neptunes.

Glad you enjoyed dinner Warren and nice to put a face to the name. The sand for landscaping arrived yesterday and I am busy making it all pretty for your next visit.
As to the Anegada Beach Club menu, it was the chef from The Wonky Dog who designed it(me)!

As you all know, I seldom drop in here. However, the Wonky Dog is worth a TTOL post.

Tonight, I just had the as good a dinner at the Wonky Dog as I have ever had in my 27 years of being on Anegada. The Wonky Dog is an Anegada must-do.

Dog added to the list. I seem to remember a picture of you and Buddy J. who were friends from way back in AR. I wasn't close but I knew him from work. Such a small world.

You asked in your previous post "So where exactly on Anegada is it?" I must have missed something but the Google Map is pretty close to accurate.

I clicked on the link supplied and it takes me to a map of the BVI's, not any specific place...if I zoomed in it was out in the water-not on Anegada.

I may be wrong, but I thought it was where the Lobster Trap used to be. Either way, it should be easy to spot.

That's odd as I just clicked on the same link embedded in your reply and it takes me right to the shore around Setting Point.

The important thing to know is; Is it on the ARH side of the reef or the Neptune's side?

Yes it is, a German Journalist asked me to hold it while he took pics then asked me to wipe my brow as he kept taking pictures, funny as the other Lobsters all cooked on the grill behind me!
