Very reasonable and delicious dinner for us last night at Pollo Hermanos on Airport Rd. What a friendly place. Staff was very engaging so we had a nice chat with several. Hard to believe as often as we’ve driven by we were not inclined to stop in. After last nights visit we will definitely be repeat diners there.
Inside was nicely air-conditioned, clean, full bar, with several tables outside on their patio. Satisfying Rum Punch and a Mango Mojito with fresh pulverized mango. Tagged as a “new” item on their menu we split the half bbq chicken, ribs, salad with 1 side and you get a coke for a very reasonable $18.95. Several sides to pick, David opted for rice & peas while I ate the salad. The chicken was moist with a delicious bbq flavor as were the ribs. You can get the chicken fried or barbecue and rib options are bbq or Cajun. They also served a garlic Mayo along side meats. Very robust flavor that I liked.
And in that same area, just two doors down from Cafe Atlantico, is Boka. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; VERY reasonable prices. I also ate there several times last trip. Their chicken might be even better than at Pollos Hermanos. Very casual. Should be added to your list, Louise.
