Have never flown Delta. Coming home, is 1 hour and 41 minutes enough time to make the connection? Only carry on but no global entry.

Having returned through ATL on Delta many times, you should be fine unless there is a significant delay leaving SXM. I would not want much less time and it also depends on the day of week you travel, C & I staffing and the number of other international arrivals that came in before you. Luggage is usually not the issue; it is how crowded C & I will be (it was crowded in March when I returned and took around 1 hour)) and then getting back through security to get to your departure date.

Atlanta accepts MPC (Mobile Passport Control) which is free and is an app you put on your smartphone. Often there is a dedicated line, like global entry, or we have actually been directed into the global entry line. Each time we have used it for reentry into the country, it has saved us an immense amount of time.

Should be enough time especially since you don’t have to wait for baggage. But if you have enough time before you travel I would recommend applying for global entry.

although we've had Global Entry for 8+ years and travel internationally several times a year, for the past few years we've actually been using Mobile Passport Control instead of our GE...we find MPC gets us through just as fast, and sometimes even faster than GE...but with GE you are also eligible for Precheck, which is helpful (usually, not always) getting through security quicker

I have both Global Entry and Mobile Passport but use the Mobile Passport every time when in Atlanta. Many flights from the Caribbean land at a similar time and the GE kiosks often are crowded. The line for Mobile Passport is usually empty. You should be OK without luggage, the only holdup might be clearing TSA prior to boarding the tram for a different terminal.
