Hello. Will be on Island for our 48th Anniversary. Wanted to do Bamboo Garden for Sunset @ 4:38 pm. BUT. They don’t open until 5 pm. Suggestions please Mario’s? ? Thanks in advance

The earliest sunset I see is 5:34 PM in late November/Early December, so If they open at 5, you should be able to take advantage of the sunset any time of the year. Other than the rare green flash, most of sunset's beauty comes after the sun slips below the horizon.

SXM is 1 hour AHEAD of US.

After November 5. Right now it’s the same. (East Coast). To the OP - when are you going? Mario’s is currently closed for vacation.

As stated 11/4-11/2023. ECM 56 thank you for links on sunrise/ sunsets. I used that site to determi e sunset on 11/8 for research. It states 4538 pm sunset 11/8/23. Do t know if that reflects hour difference. Thanks to all for replies. 👏

What time is 4538 pm? Any time on that website would be local SXM time. On November 8, the sunset looks to be 5:37 PM to me?

That is local time (Atlantic Standard Time). No daylight ("summer") time adjustment.
