Succiere in Simpson bay is our favorite bakery on the island as it has a wide selection

We used to make daily visits but this was our only visit to date

We had planned to visit DK Gems and Laurent ( a specialty men's store) in Phillipsburg and changed our plans as it was already hot in the early morning
We let our friends know we would not be visiting and wished their families well

We to get out of the "house', we ventured over to the bakery

there are so many tempting pastry goods

we filled a box of desserts and a couple bags of morning pastries

out back you can sit at tables along the lagoon and enjoy your pastries along with the bakery pets which are very accustomed to people

I miss the old La Sucrière in Marigot, but the one in Simpson Bay is as good. And that iguana has been there for years - it probably wonders how to get rid of all the strangers in it's house...

I know guys but the little lizards eat the mosquitos. Iguanas just hang out. A friend found a huge one on top of her stove burners once. It was a hilarious picture!
Cheers
