Haven't been back to SXM since Irma, but will be back for a cruise day September 6 and am going to rent a car for the day. Looks like from Cedrick's FB page that the Perch is still in business with more picnic tables than before. Is there still parking in a circle drive where there used to be (I seem to recall portajohns there,too)? Thanks!

There is parking by the Perch, yes, but not really a circle drive. More like rows of parking. As far as toilets, I believe I read there is an actual working toilet there now. Not sure.

Actually, it is a circle drive next to perch bar. Zoom down on google maps and it is pretty clear.

Not sure what it's like in September since that's traditionally a slower month. If the lot near the Perch fills up you can always park behind the beach bars just outside of the Perch lot. The Perch lot often fills up if you arrive later in the morning

I've not heard of anyone getting their car trapped, but Cedrick usually locks up the Perch parking lot at about 5pm.
