After 20 years, the old NHC (National Hurricane Center) guidance document has been updated with the accumulated knowledge garnered in the interim. While many here might not be that interested in hurricane information, it does make for great reading. The very complex, abstruse and technical meteorological information is presented in a readable and understandable manner for lay people to understand. And any sailing or living in "the zone" will gain invaluable knowledge and insight by checking out the NHC's updated document here: Mariner's Tropical Cyclone Guide(duplicated in the SXM forum)

Thanks for sharing this - looking forward to working my way through it. What are your other favorite weather resources? Modern Marine Weather and Chris Parker's handbook are on my bookshelf.
