went around anegada yesterday. Tipsy's was great! Ann is a great hostess, as well was the anegada beach hotel. the other places we went to were "stoned" and everyone/employees was coupled to their phone. no nice greeting/welcome. When saw "stick figure" on the flag at Tipsy's...well....

When I walk the beach to Tipsy and see people at Cow Wreck as I pass by, I wonder to myself "Why?".

Tipsy's is the BEST!!! Great atmosphere and great people. The guy in the DJ Booth (Not sure if part owner but I believe he said he was (or related)) is the dad of a KU football player who graduated a couple years ago. Had a great time talking Jayhawks with them. We LOVED that place.

Ann and Andrew (and their staff) are knocking it out of the park at Tipsy Beach Bar. They have built a fun place, serving good food, good drinks, and all on one of the prettiest beaches.

When I walk the beach to Tipsy and see people at Cow Wreck as I pass by, I wonder to myself "Why?". Interesting. It's been years since we've been to Anegada, but we used to love Cow Wreck, seriously one of my favorite and most relaxing places on earth. We thoroughly enjoyed the casual setting, serve yourself bar and basic food (the conch fritters were great). I don't recall names, but the family running the place seemed fantastic. I do recall having trouble paying the tab once, had a hard time raising someone and then signals were down as we were trying to pay with a credit card, if I recall correctly. Anyway, what has happened since? I checked out Tipsy on Facebook and it looks like an incredible place and a great story. Do they have a parking lot, or do you have to park at Cow Wreck and walk over?

Ann decided to leave her mother (no need to get into why) and start her own place. She and Andrew (with some help from Walker of course) have developed a beautiful spot that absolutely rivals Cow Wreck. To get to Tipsy's turn right just before Ann's Cottages and the road ends at Tipsy's.
I will always make a point to visit with Belle. Cow Wreck is still near and dear to my heart. But Tipsy's is definitely the new hot spot.
Go Irish!!

Tipsy has it's own parking lot - being paved with concrete as I type. Tipsy has nice beach lounges, covered cabanas, a covered beach area, full-service bar and an incredibly good kitchen. Drinks are larger than Cow Wreck, are not watered down, and cost less. Also lots of things for entertainment - music and games of all kind. It will soon have a small miniature golf course. Best of all, it has Ann, who is one of the best hosts ever.

I'm ecstatic for Ann and Tipsy but, as far as Cow Wreck, a lot of people still have long history and loyalty to Miss Belle and their fun memories at CW.

I agree Aries4. Long history with Cowwreck. Met Ann there. Always stop to visit Miss Belle, have lobster lunch then down to Tipsy for a couple more.
