Good pic. If you expand it you can see 3 different colors in the sun.

We always come to SXM in mid June and it seems that Sahara dust is often a function at that time of year.

Sahara dust does a lot to keep the tropical storms and hurricanes at bay.

As a property owner you should. It's supposed to help curtailing tropical storms and destructive hurricanes.

I had a nice sunset image as well due to the Sahara sand in the air:

We have also experienced the Sahara dust but can’t recall if it was during our Fall or Spring trip. One word of caution that I will share - whatever the timeframe. I managed to get the worse sun burn I’ve ever gotten and yes, I was using my sunscreen wisely at the time. I don’t know for sure if the Sahara dust was a factor or not but I’m inclined to think it was. An ounce of protection………🙂🙂

We have had a bad haze in the sky here in Ohio the last few days, due to forest fire smoke from Canada. There has been a health alert here. Hope the sun will emerge again Thursday...It has resembled the summer Mt. St. Helens blew its volcano stuff into the air....

I saw that on the news last night, weird looking sky in NYC and DC. Hopefully those forest fires abate soon.
