At least an hour probably 2. Bring your phone, they will show you how to film a bird land on you in slow motion.

We went for the second time our last vacatin. figured twenty minutes to half hour would be plenty. Well.....over two hours later we left. It is such a great place to relax...feed the birds, and see so many beautiful sights. The colors are amazing. and some of the rarer birds are just so awesome to watch.

And bring cash too. As I recall it is $10 USD per person and they only took cash - no credit cards. Definitely worth it!

We’ve visited Parotte Ville several times, and spend about an hour or two feeding the beautiful birds. Then we buy a cold beer 🍻 on the way out and sit at their picnic table. It’s a nice and relaxing morning.

Great place to visit. Go when you have time because as EdB said you could plan half hour and want to stay longer. I know we did.

Go first thing in the am if you can. Cooler and the birds are really active. And I agree, block off a couple hours.

The butterfly farm is now a parrot Sanctuary? I thought the parrot sanctuary was on the road near the French/ Dutch border?

The butterfly farm is now a parrot Sanctuary? I thought the parrot sanctuary was on the road near the French/ Dutch border? I was just likening butterfly to bird. The bird's are just outside of P'burg on way to Oyster Pond. We follow road that comes from cruise dock then it's a left turn. (signs) But other have said you can get there via the middle road. Maybe someone will have better directions.

Yes, you can. Via middle road: when you get to roundabout where McDonald's is, turn right out of the roundabout and the sanctuary is about a block down on your right.
