We are Bareboating with TMM Yacht Charters August 1-11 (only dates all 6 travelers are available). This is our 15th BVI trip, but first during hurricane season. Would love recommendations for insurance to cover in case of a hurricane. Most policies cover so many other things that drive the price so high, but we are most interested in hurricane coverage. Thank you!

Most of the charter companies I believe will give you a credit for the days lost if recalled for a storm. Other than that I think your only option is standard trip insurance.

We use World Nomads for trip insurance. Simple application, with two levels of coverage and reasonable rates. They paid off when our 2020 trip was canceled due to covid. Link to World Nomads
