We had dinner Tuesday night at The Spaghetti House.....a first for us. The wife had the basic spaghetti which she was somewhat disappointed in (said it was just average) and I had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp which I thought was outstanding. I had the wife try it and she said she should have ordered what I had. The pasta tasted very fresh and the alfredo sauce was delicious. Probably the best fettuccine alfredo I have had on the island. We will definitely return. Went to Tap and Still Thursday night to see what it is all about. The food is pretty basic (burgers, sandwiches, wings, fries, etc.). We had eaten a big lunch so we just ordered korean wings and fries. The wings were good....the fries were a bit limp but tasty. They have karaoke on Thursday, a band on Friday and a DJ on Saturday. The wife really enjoyed the place and I think it is a nice addition to the Simpson Bay area. Went to the Yacht Club for lunch yesterday. Always enjoy our meal there and it is a nice setting. There are three large yachts moored across the way and we enjoyed watching the small kids in the tiny sailboats. I assume they are learning sailing techniques as they are closely monitored by adult boats. We have had virtually no rain the past ten days (which is nice for those of us who are on vacation) but the island could use some rain as it is beginning to brown up. Off to the next adventure.

I like spaghetti house as well Lee. I’ve had the spaghetti with meatballs. and the portions were quite large. I’ll have to try the Tap and Still. I have been by lots, but not stopped and eaten. I have to say I am at the yacht club frequently. I am addicted to their coconut shrimp.😂.
Good to see the birds are still drinking out of the pool and basking in the water to stay cool.
Keep posting those photos.

Try the burgers at Tap & Still - they are among the best I've ever eaten. Despite the paper-bagging. And if you like old Led Zeppelin and similar oldies, see "The Squall" on Friday nights.

Zanshin--I'm sorry, I doubt I will ever get to enjoy their hamburgers, as I find that paper bag concept very off-putting.

Didn't make it to Spaghetti House this past March and I've regretted it since----long wait until next trip. I heard the Chicken Parm was the best.
