We will be arriving on the island the first part of May and staying at BSV. My husband and I were married on the island 20 years ago this November and thought we should add a November trip to celebrate. That being said.... Tracy does not have the dates that would work for us at BSV for that time. Has anyone stayed at Coco Beach Club on Simpson Bay (beside Mary's Boon)? I will take a walk down and check the property out when we arrive in May but was interested if any of you have any knowledge of this property. It may come down to switching our dates so we can stay at BSV as that has been our place to stay over the years - all thanks to Carol's posts way back when:)

They’re all privately owned, but some are available on Airbnb, etc. we have friends who have stayed there, nice property, but fairly pricey. Maybe try Marys Boon , sometime hard to get a reservation or horny toad also.

They do look nice online. As someone above said, they are all individually owned, so different units will be different. I believe only some of them actually face the ocean, not all. The only bad thing I have heard about them is several years ago there was at least one car stolen from there. I don't know if there is secured parking there now or not. Mary's Boon next door doesn't have secured parking either though, as far as I know.
Someone else said it was pricy. I looked at one that was $800 a night. Wow, for that, one could rent a stand alone villa, with a private pool.

We just returned home after two weeks at Cocos #2. This is a two bedroom unit all on one floor. Being one flor you have a double width deck which we found handy as one side had a fixed awning that provided shad all day long providing that you play musical chairs to-follow the shade. Inside there are a living room and bedroom off the deck with a kitchen and bedroom facing the garden. There is laundry available in the unit and maid service is available. The compound is gated with a electric sliding gate for parking and a coded gate for walk through. On the garden side is a pool and gym available. The gym has a treadmill, elliptical machines, rowing machine, bikes and weights. We have stayed at unit #3 as well which has an upstairs downstair layout with the bedrooms upstairs(one with balcony) and living dining kitchen downstairs. Some of the units have roller awnings but from what I understand the motors do not work. We did not try manually opening them. This is something you would have to discuss with the rental owner. The beach has been reduced in size by recent weather and while we were there sargassum was an issue but maintenance staff raked it up. Hope this helps.

candu--do you have a link for the units you stayed at? I think it is not the same place that I was getting a price of $800 a night.

candu--thanks for the link. #2 looks like it would be nice. I personally wouldn't be interested in the upstairs unit.

Thank you very much for the info and I appreciate knowing first hand that you enjoyed your time there. I think the lower unit would be the best option as you have direct access to the beach. Can you tell me if the unit had a bbq?

Yes unit #2 has a gas bbq. I am partial to lump charcoal so we only used it once. The stove inside is induction which I was not really a fan of but we made do.
