Go a couple of hundred yards (as the crow flies) over to Kimsha beach, here is what it looked like at happy hour yesterday (and I can see it isn't much different now, apart from the light):
We stayed for two months near the Morgan building and Maho beach was like that most of the time, a freak show. We always loved Kim Sha beach, never that many people.
This is why it pays to do your homework ( nice that the ship schedule is on this header) when deciding your plans for the day!! When there is that many ships in port, run out early back early and camp out in front of our unit at BSV!!! Between the traffic, the drunked up people walking on Beacon hill road with drinks in hand and NO regard for vehicles behind them!! It's a real pain in the azz!!
Walked to BSV from COCO Condos this morning. Unless you are camping out on the front porch you will not be camping out in front. The waves are lapping at the concrete and there is a four foot drop from the stairs to what is left.
We've seen that a couple of times over the years. In a couple of days it will be very deep the beach in front of BSV! On those days Emanuel puts out chairs a long side of the pool! And at least we have the pool!!!
Yes we are at Coco Club just past Mary’s Boon. It was impossible to get to BSV without getting your feet wet. It is the same the other way all along the beach.
We stayed next to the Morgan Building from mid December to mid February, 2023 and witnessed that almost every day. It would finally clear out by 3:30-4PM. Horrible, trying to get through the road. Only, when there was maybe one cruise ship in, it was tolerable.

My wife just got back from the hair dresser and she said a woman was hit by a car in front of Maho Market. The woman was on the ground being attended to and had a big bag of ice on her leg. Definitely a busy day in Maho
Carol the sand is coming back to BSV Beach, slowly. When we got to our villa 5 days ago there was 6 rocks visible in front of our villa. This morning we're down to 1.
