Does anyone have an update on when the new tunnel will open from the cruiseship pier to Anegada. Having Elon Musk design hyper loop jitney cabs for the high speed transit will be cool. I know the economy of Anegada will take a huge boost from the thousands of new visitors a day. Walker is even opening a Boutique puzzle and donkey ride concession.

Last I heard they were going to build a bridge, with massive wind turbines on each pier, with charging stations for electric boats.

The wind turbines are a great idea, I sailed one of the new electric boats an the 50 amp cord kept getting caught on coral heads.

I heard the tunnel is delayed. They are having trouble with the midpoint observation station at the wreck of the Chikuzen. They keep roping off the area around the wreck for cruise passenger viewing only but divers keep cutting the ropes! They also had a dive boat anchor crack one of the observation windows!
