I'm planning a fall cruise with the last stop being St. Maarten, followed be two cruise days back. I'd like to leave the ship and stay a week in St.Maarten.Is this possible? Has anyone ever done this? What might be the procedure? Thank you

Hi. I moved this here, as it really is a cruise question. Before 9-11, no problem. These days, I think you have to get permission of the cruise company. Do you have a cruise travel agent? Have you asked them?

Do not believe Royal Caribbean allows now - see https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/different-departure-port-city

Need to check with the particular cruise line. Other cruise lines may permit.
