Thursday we had lunch at LaGoonies. Not impressed. Surprised that menu was half vegan choices.
The excitement of the day was 8 of us getting together at Mamas Porto Cupocoy. 2 couples just arrived one is leaving Friday and we leave Saturday.
Those of us on island had information for the “newbies” who are staying at Grand Case Beach Club. They had arrived yesterday and dined at Bistrot Caribes. One couple said it was great, the other couple said food was just average for the price. Too much detail to post here and keep in mind not all palates are the same.
I told them about TTOL for great info.
One couple had met us earlier to see what BSV was like. The wife loved it. The husband was concerned about plane noise. Of course Air France landed and was noisy. Hubby told them there’s very little noise except between 2 and 4 pm.
To Porto Cupocoy we drove one couple via Maho. After we took route through lowlands, Sandy Ground , Marigot waterfront, to rotary where we said goodby to the GCBC couples and headed back via the causeway. So much traffic!
Ps road construction just at Jordan Village. Detoured us up by Bar Code then back down to main road.
