Someone posted awhile back that island is inindated with monkeys. We have been here almost 2 weeks and traveled pretty much every inch of island and have not seen one monkey

They are over in Indigo Bay and Dawn Beach area .

Went to Indigo didn’t see any and we have no plans to go to Dawn beach this visit. So the monkeys will miss us lol!

Same here....we have been driving around the Island for maybe 20 years and never have seen one....anywhere

They are very plentiful in Dawn Beach area. When staying there , I have seen as many as three per day. They can be quite aggressive, so best to keep your distance if you see any.

They don't hang out on the road, but where they can find food. Like everyone's gardens, up in the hills.
