Ahoy!

Before Irma we enjoyed BEYC as non guests while moored there. I think we paid a small fee to use the pool but maybe it was included when we bought drinks and lunch, don’t remember. What are our options at the new BEYC as non hotel guests?

BEYC is just starting to rebuild their lodgings, so their business is almost exclusively yachts. I believe the whole place is open to visitors by yacht, and the Quarter Deck lounge and restrooms are specifically for yachtsmen. If there's a pool though I haven't noticed it.

EZ - you are correct no pool. Marina, water sports, bar, restaurants, store, Quarterdeck. A few (I think 2 - 2 unit buildings) marina suites. If they have plans to put a pool back in they were not evident last month.

There is a pool at Oil Nut you could visit if looking for that while at BEYC.

We were there a few weeks ago with our kids, here is a list of the pools. It was nice for them to have the option. Although we had a few flex days in our itinerary and the kids (all three 5, 9, 11) chose to go back to Ivans in White Bay over the pools.

Leverick
Oil Nut
Top of the Baths
Scrub
Anegada Beach Club

Scrub is by far the best pool. Has a fun waterslide.

The restaurant, shop, small beach area and water sports facilities are open and can be accessed from the mooring field by dinghy (of course) to a convenient dinghy dock. There are also showers. We enjoyed the dinner. I think there is no charge to use the facilities - but in fact we took a slip there in January so cannot say for sure.

I'm not sure if the pool at Oil Nut Bay is available for visiting yachters. It was when we were there in July, 2021 but that was when crowds were small due to Covid. Soon thereafter I read a post on TTOL that access to the main resort, which includes the pool, was restricted to the residents and their guests.

It was a great pool, snorkeling was good off the beach, though the resident turtles seem to be on vacation somewhere else, and the main restaurant was amazing. The marina village was shut down when we visited which was part of the reason for us having access to the resort for no daypass fee.

You are free to use the pool at Oil Nut marina and it's a lovely heated one! You can enjoy drinks from the bar while lounging around and Novas food is good.

That's good to know. When we were there in 2021, other that dock availability, the marina was shut down and I don't recall seeing a swimming pool in their facility. Backing into a slip with a strong wind 45 degrees off the bow made for a really interesting experience.
