Writing this tonight from the sonesta regency Miami Airport. Drove down this afternoon, and all psyched for annual three week getaway to our ''happy place''. Decent hotel, being renovated as we speak, and plenty of parking.for a reasonable price. Can see the airport from our room. We fly out on AA in the morning, and this overnight takes the stress out of a rush in the morning. SXM, here we come!

I love the anticipation. Have a great trip. Post lots of pictures.....I am currently snowed in under over 2 feet of snow!

Good move!!! Less stress, good night sleep! We did the same thing the couple of times that we flew out of EWR!!! Have a great time as we in the Northeast are freezing and some will be digging out for weeks!!!

Ed, we will miss you this year. Our villa was booked before we thought to block the March-April weeks. We have blocked the villa for March-April weeks for 2024.
