We have a flight out of SJU Fri, 6/2 at 8:45pm to Tampa. If you had to choose between Intercaribbean or Silver Airways from EIS to SJU who would you chose, I'm thinking Silver at 3:10 - 3:55 gives us plenty of check-in time for 8:45 flight and if it cancels they also have a 6:20-7:05 that we could cross fingers we could take and make 8:45 flight.

Other option is to take ferry to STT to catch Cape Air at 3:45-4:20, added cost for ferry and no alt flight if cancelled.

AA out of EIS to Tampa is not an option because of cost.

Did a search for reviews on all these airlines and pretty much they all suck, you would think nobody ever gets to where they are going anymore yikes

Also does anyone know what a taxi fare for 2 ppl from CGB to EIS should cost? Thank you!

We have taken Silver Airways many times EIS-SJU, as part of JetBlue codeshare. While we've never had a flight cancel, we've had significant delays several times. I can't speak personally for Intercaribbean, but know their reputation well. With the buffer you have to connect in SJU, I would say it's a reasonably safe bet that you'll make your connection to Tampa.

I would take Silver. I've always had luck with InterCaribbean but their recent track record is not so good!

You can look at on-time performance here as well.

Flight Stats

https://www.flightstats.com/v2/flight-ontime-performance-rating/3M/101 <<< to search for different flight overwrite the 101 with the flight number.

thanks those flight stat websites are pretty daunting, then I found these

https://www.flightstats.com/v2/flight-ontime-performance-rating/3M/101

https://www.flightstats.com/v2/flight-ontime-performance-rating/JY/512

oh and great Intercaribbean has better stats but silver has later option, anyway IDK
