"Beauty and the Billionaire" now showing on Prime Video, most of the movie is filmed in SXM with some great shots of the island.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just watched it. Cute movie and loved trying to figure out where they were (most I recognized). Funniest part was when they were on the golf course and I looked at the wife with a look of.....bet they don't film much of that. And they didn't. I even found on Google Earth the villa they used. Beautiful place.

We just watched it. Cheesy and cute. Was like a Hallmark movie and was fun to watch. Sure beats some of the other violent crap that's airing on most channels. Questioned where she bought her groceries on the alley where the yellow truck is usually at.😉

Cutesy movie!! How about that villa OMG!!! If he really loved golf that much he should buy that cowpasture and turn it into a real course LOL!!!
Groceries on Front street??? LOL!!! Were they on the Concord to make it back and forth that quicky??? LOL!
Overall it was a cute movie and we all knew that love would be in the air in the end!!

Hmmm...link worked for me....probably a Canada thing. Maybe use a VPN?
Edit: Used VPN set to Ontario....."Content Unavailable"...set to Massachusetts and it worked

Didn't work for me either. On island with VPN. Lots of stuff is blocked to here.

boucharda - I think you are correct, it's a Canada "thing". There are times when a news story has a video with it that says not available in your region. My wife did find the movie on Amazon Prime for $3.99.

We watched it on Freebee for free through our Xfinity cable service. Wouldn't show up on Prime for us.

We watched it on Tubi streaming service. Long commercial breaks so if available on another platform with less advertising I’d suggest another.
A sappy movie with obvious plot but we continued to watch because it showed beautiful SXM.

I went to Prime Video and searched for the title. It came up saying 'with ads'. There were maybe 10 of them, each being about 10 seconds long. Was actually shown through FreeVee. Some good recognizable scenery but not sure I would pay to watch it.

I did pay to watch it...because the freevee ads are annoying to me. And I can't say I should have paid. It was terrible....except for the scenes of SXM. I loved those.

Yes, I don't think this will garner any Oscar nominations. Pretty formulaic plot, reminds me of the plots in the old Harlequin Romance books. One major difference, for those of us old enough to remember them: the titles used to be something like "the Secretary and the Millionaire" or, in this case, "the Beauty and the Millionaire." Now all the men are billionaires. Is this due to inflation or what?
