Staying in a place that sleeps four and may have one of our siblings stop in for a night or two. Where can I go (near Maho) to buy a cheap air bed/mattress/cot for his use of two nights and then maybe just donate to local shelter/place after use?

I can't think of any stores in the Maho area that would carry that. But cross the causeway bridge and you can go to Ace Hardware (upstairs). The other options are all much further away - towards Philipsburg or in Marigot or Hope Estate.

Most often the place where you are staying will bring in an extra cot for you and just charge you for the nights you are using it. Check with them first before buying something.

@Sands - me, too. But that is a very long way from Maho.

Might want to check with where you are staying. If it says sleeps 4 some resorts won't allow more than 4 in a room.
