Club O beach has been packed but hardly anyone dares treading the water. The sargassum is so thick and dense that the water from the shoreline to about 15 ft out looks black as ink. Its that way the entire length of the beach until you get to Papagayo's ruins and then it lightens up a bit. Just awful. Plus there is only one restroom that is located in an old shack that everyone has to use, its like an old outdoor toilet. Not very inviting.

My wife definitely wants nothing to do with the lavatory situation there. Although, we do continue to patronize Club O beach, we only go for about a half day. Just make sure you get a villa with private pool and you can enjoy the afternoon au naturale.
