Hi SXM gurus. Long time forum viewer, first time poster so be nice smile

I know there is no shortage of beer selection available, but for personal reasons I am wondering if anyone has seen Corona Premiere, specifically on the island yet. Not Corona Light.

Any luck?

Thanks in advance.

Nope. Never seen it here. Most common flavors I see around town are...
* Corona / Coranita
* Coors Light
* Heineken (Hkn Zero too)
* Carib
* Presidente
* Old Milwalke (Prime Distributors)
* plus a range of other independents and local brews.

...not to say it doesn't exist here, I've just never seen it in my 6+ years here.

I'm a fan of Corona Premier myself, and more often than not the spot on the shelf where it should be here at home is empty as it's quite popular. I also looked for it in several spots in SXM the last couple of trips with no luck. Premier is a light and tasty low carb beer, and I think the closest thing you'll find to it on the island IMHO is Amstel Bright. Sun, sand and a lime slice really go along well with it.

Cheers!

Amstel Bright is not a lite beer, although many assume it is.

you can definitely find hard seltzers….but when i was there this past dec/jan, they were pretty expensive at the Carrefour next to Princess casino…almost 3x price in the US…i think a 12 pack of White Claw was ~$30 usd

Most US wines and beers are more expensive on island. At least that has been my observation.

actually i normally bring a case or two of light beer down with me to "be prepared", but mainly to take on to St. Barth...finding bottled light beer in SXM is not hard, but cans (especially 12, not 10 oz cans) may not be found as readily...post covid, finding light beer on SBH has become more difficult toast
