Looking forward to a land based winter get away. past few years have stayed put in CGB but this year we are staying first at Leverick and have made a reservation for the Necker Island Nature tour which we are very excited about. Then our stop in CGB , looking forward to seeing the usual suspects and enjoying time at Elm BBQ and Indigo which I am a big fan of. Then we are ending with a few days on St John, tough to find a place to stay on St John these days that is not an arm and a leg.
Question about Leverick, in past we were able to rent a dingy to putt about the north sound, but I did not see an option like that on most of the rental websites, I have not asked at Leverick yet but wondered if anyone here has rented little boats for the day ?
Next year when we are retired we hope to spend at least a month down island!! Cheers to our last "short trip" hopefully.

Toast - if you don’t need a large place check out Sea Cottage on St John Beautiful views and great owners. Faith Full View as well. Both on the more affordable spectrum (but book up way in advance - most of the good St John losing books a year in advance now.

Blue Rush Watersports in Leverick has a dinghy you can rent. I just confirmed it can take 4 people. (let me know if you want their WhatsApp) You can also try Bradley Powerboats. They used to have a dinghy but it maxed out at 3 adults (or 2 adults, 2 small children) I believe, but it looks like it was removed from her website for the 22/23 season. She does have a small powerboat if you are comfortable with that. Both are very responsive and located right at the dock in Leverick. You will love the Necker tour! Just make sure you confirm your reservation a week prior and make 100% certain you know your pickup location and details. Gumption's scheduling team is not the most organized or reliable bunch.

Thank you to everyone on the suggestions for St John and for the dingy options in in Leverick.
Skitdastraw if you could send me their whatsapp that would be great, you can message it.
