Chartering a boat in June 2023. What’s going on at Peter Island regarding the marina and resort? I suspect not much at all. Any info would be appreciated.

They're targeting a December 2023 opening for the Peter Island resort. 50 some odd hotel rooms and 3 villas.

Thank you for the response. A few people in our group were hoping for an earlier target date.

Can Deadman’s beach still be accessed via boat/dnighy?

The Beach is open but they don’t want anyone going inland.

The guidebook issued by our charter company 2 weeks ago says you can hike from the mooring field in Great Harbour to Deadman’s Bay via Sprat Bay, This is incorrect. We got as far as Sprat Bay and we’re politely but firmly turned back by a construction guy on a quad bike.
