Arriving next Saturday, Google Maps suggest two different routes to take from SAX Car rental office near the airport to Jardins D'Orient where our accommodations are located (Ally Moon Cottage). Estimated time according to GM is close 24 minutes for one and 28 for the other. One route goes through Marigot and passes Grand Case and on to the destination, the other takes us through Quarter Orleans and and on to the destination. So after reading some posts regarding the horrific traffic problems which route would be best for us? We arrive at 4:50 Saturday afternoon. Any help/suggesttions are appreciated , thanks!

I drove through the road works at Grand Case a couple of times last week and they weren't significantly slowing down traffic.

Your best bet when leaving Sax office is to make your way back to the causeway bridge head over the bridge and make a left in the roundabout. That will take you through Marigot with no extra turns. Continue straight on the road will twist and turn, but it comes out to Grand Case and then on to Orient area! This is the simplest way!! Grab some patience, traffic at that hour could be tight!!! If you ordered from Jeanie, there will be a cold one waiting for you!!! Safe travels!!
