Hello all. On previous visits we used to go to The Church on Monday nights....that is where we first heard Ronny Santana. Last visit he was playing at Hole in the Wall....it is my understanding that he no longer plays there? So, does anyone know where he might be performing on the island? or has he left or retired? We always love to see him somewhere while visiting. Thanks so much.

Ronnie is alive and well and playing multiple gigs on the island. I know for sure he's at the Pub every Monday. 1st and 3rd Sunday at Cafe Rembrandt. Others I'm not sure about, but probably almost every night he's out there somewhere.

Hello Bill and Elaine....thanks....could I also ask where the Pub is and cafe Rembrandt? I do NOT want to miss him, we love his talent. Even tho we have been coming to SXM since 2005 we are still not entirely familiar with where all these places are. We seem to hit a few favourites all the time. For sure we will try to find these places, just to even hear him one night. So happy to hear he is alive and well and still on the island

The Pub is in Simpson Bay behind Top Carrot, the old Scotia Bank, Simpson Bay Pharmacy Cafe Rembrandt is located in Madame Estate. Think you will find a map here: https://www.facebook.com/Cafe-Rembrandt-644556062291662/We've been Ronnie (and several other musicians) groupies for nearly 20 years, We don't go out so much any more as so much is too late for us these days. Pre Irma we could be found at Buccaneer Beach Bar EVERY Saturday night to listen to Ronnie and Amin play amazing music. Every Saturday for 7 years. Two of the three best (IMHO) guitarists on the island.

Hello again. I agree,,,one of the best for sure! Every newbie we bring along on our trips all agree and most keep coming back. We will for sure see him at the Pub, as we are staying one night at Azure, then move to Royal Palm. We love to be able to walk to places for entertainment at night (in a group!) so our DD during the day can enjoy a few drinks. The pub is doable. The Cafe R is a bit out of our way, so will have to see on that one. I tend to get kinda lost when I head to that district LOL,,,Can't wait to get back to the island, it's been a long couple of years!! Thanks again, always appreciate your input.

If you let me know when you are on island, we'll get you there. You MUST experience Cafe Rembrandt, a true Dutch experience

I will for sure!!! We arrive on March 30 - albiet late....but sadly this year we leave on April 6,,,but it is late as well, so our last day is a full day. I contacted Cafe R via message and they said April 2 Ronne Santana and The Real Deal will be playing, so that is what we are going to try to make. One of our friends loves trying different beer, so sounds like he will have choices there for sure! I have read a few reviews saying the food is good. So, Ya,,seems like a long time away, but will for sure maybe pop on here to message you if we are having trouble finding the place. Would love to meet you some day, I always enjoy your posts. Take care

He is also usually at the Jazz Brunch "jam session" at Rendezvous (Porto Cupecoy) on Sundays, 1-4:00.

Hi there. That's awesome....how's the good there? Wednesday will work better for us, as we arrive late on a thursday and leave late on a thursday,,,,so wont get to see him at Pineapple Petes. Sure glad I asked about this, as we were just planning on seeing him at Hole in the Wall. He is not there anymore, I contacted them. Thanks for the info!!
