If you're set on Spain, mainland Spain (as opposed to the Canary Islands) there are lots of choices for family-friendly, so Google will probably instruct you best. It also depends on where you want to be. Up near Tarragona (a gorgeous UNESCO heritage town) I've visited "El Templo del Sol," which is kind of a campground sort of place- very clean, with a nice pool, and great beach with mountains behind you. About halfway down the coast, near Almeria, is Vera Playa, a huge resort area where you have options of either a big resort hotel (the Vera Playa Club Hotel) or a self-catering apartment in a half dozen different communities. Two-mile long beach. If you go apartment, make sure you ask for one that's been recently renovated, as some are nicer than others. Then, further down, nearer to Gibraltar, is Costa Natura, a set of about 200 Moorish-styled apartments set on a hillside, also on a nice beach. I've read there are lots of other places inland, so you could really do a driving tour of Spain!

We go to Vera Playa every summer. It's a really relaxed family beach. There are several beach bars/restaurants where you can have a drink or lunch without dressing. The apartment complexes are well-maintained and fairly quiet. The roads around the complexes are in the naturist zone, so you can walk from apartment to beach without dressing if you wish. About the only time I dress is to visit the supermarket!

The hotel is only naturist during the day; you have to dress for meals and after about 8pm.

There's lots of info at www.veraplayafriends.com

Note that it's a short season. June is about the earliest if you want good weather, and September the latest. August can be very hot. We find July perfect.

Some very well written reviews from a family naturist perspective and a review of Vera Playa. The site is not well organized when trying to find a specific location review but these links should help.
Menadering Naturist - Vera Playa Post and you may also want to consider France in the future as well. Another post from the Meandering Naturist ( France). We did spend a week at La Jenny this summer and can say European Naturism (at least from our experience in France) is much more multi-generational than the US and less of a adult party atmosphere.
