As we sit here at the pool bar waiting to go to the airport the big question is would you return and the answer is yes. The rooms are very nice and the staff are friendly. The location is within walking distance for anything that you would need. The only draw back is The Roxy and probably the Nowhere Special with the evening Boom Boom Boom which would affect SBR and the Atrium as well. Doesn't stop me from falling asleep, but sitting on the balcony for a quiet evening looking at the views it's annoying. Enjoyed are stay at our 2nd home. Three months and counting till island time again.

Loved following you and one of these trips I hope our dates coincide and we can actually manage to spend some quality time together. Our brief encounters were nice but too brief for more than a wave or a quick hello before the card behind us started blowing their horns…….

Safe travels as you return to the land of cold weather but the good news - Spring-time soon come! Merry Christmas.

Respectfully,

pat

That would be wonderful. I'm sure we could fill an afternoon or evening with some good conversation. We'll be back in the spring maybe then the stars will all line up. Till then a Merry Christmas to you both.

Whale Tail--that's a shame about Roxxy. We have stayed there a few times and always enjoyed the location, in the heart of everything.

Safe travels home! Thanks so much for all your pictures and posts!

Luckily we really don't hear that Boom Boom Boom at our unit at Flamingo and our balconies face that direction. I can imagine what it's like next door at Royal Palm as we can hear it when we drive by that area.

Royal Palm was the second place I stayed on the island, with Divi being the first place after visiting on a cruise. Having stayed there many times and in everything from one of their few one-bedroom units to a top floor penthouse with 3 BR, it has a lot to offer and is a great location. Behind The Horny Toad, it is my second favorite place to stay. The Atrium is not bad either and Flamingo can be good unless you get a room with a bad location. I would put La Vista in my top 5 places to stay as well.

Way back when, The Lady C would be hopping into the late hours (and some of our group participated in those late hours when we were younger!) and even Lee's and LaBamba would have some music but it was tolerable.

Safe travel!

I miss The Lady C. I still wear the 2 T Shirts from there that says "The Liver Is Evil And Needs To Be Punished". I get a lot of chuckles with that.

I loved the Lady C. Very cool bar.
SXM Scubaman, my hubby and I also have that T-shirt. It definitely gets a lot of laughs!
