It's not easy finding Christmas decorations on a tropical island. But this is the best we could do on our trip to P'Burg yesterday. As I believe Carol said our best bet would be Back street. We were directed to a store called Penny's which is like a 3 story dollar store which is close to Old street. We also bought a string of lights which was missing a bulb so one section is out it was only $4, still trying to figure out what to do with them.

Yeah, kind of meager pickings, but it's the thought that counts! Maybe someone else can chime in with some other thoughts.

Did you try Ace for decorations?

Kooyman Megastore has Christmas decorations on their website in a attached brochure. Ace Hardware could be a good choice. Ace has about everything I have ever needed.

Do you know where the pharmacy used to be in French Cul de Sac? Across the street from Hercule restaurant.... When we were there in November, they had the front porch lined with artificial Christmas trees, and some nights they were outside still and lit for a bit- spectacular. We never went in, but I would bet they would have Christmas decorations.

Go to Super City on the Bush Road near Philipsburg. Their selection is H-U-G-E.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. I wish I could say I'll just jump in my car and whip down to Ace and be right back lol but with traffic on the island that could be a 3 hour excursion. The other day coming back from Maho to RP we were parked in traffic before we got to the causeway roundabout.

Update
After returning from P'Burg today and and another stop at Penny's and the Ace outlet in P'Burg we have completed our decorations. This is as good as it's going to get folks.

Good for you. I like the Merry Christmas. I'm old school and Christmas is celebrating the birth of Christ.
