At Little Harbor JVD, Sydneys son, Junior would come around to collect trash. We used to have a laurel and Hardy routine, but he never caught on. Basically, you get the trash and $3.00? I thought you were buying trash for $3.00. We would go round and round, it was fun. The other entertainment there was when Nippy the Salisman was alive would come to the boat to sell jewelry, have a beer and hit up the ladies, tell the story of his wife in Philly that he had never met. Oh the good times.
