I am not exaggerating. I had the best meal of my life at Le Pressoir. It helps that my favourite fish is Dover Sole! It was a lovely evening sitting on the veranda. Served with risotto.

Not sure why more on this website do not visit Le Pressoir, I know it is a bit more expensive but it is worth it

It is certainly a step above the similar menus offered elsewhere.
They also offer some different wines by the glass

We totally love the service from Millaure, while Gil made my wife one of her best mojitos

They run a class restaurant

Last time we visited, Gil was deboning a dover sole for 3, it was huge and looked delicious

The tasting menu is recommended

We also had a wonderful experience at Le Pressoir... My husband had the best dirty martini he's ever had! We guess it was probably the olive brine that helped, but still fabulous, as was all the food, including fresh oysters flown in from France.

There are so many restaurants, we try not to visit the same ones over and over, but this one is on our list for a return visit in January!

I have to get back there again, I believe that I also had the best meal of my life there some years ago. I am a little squeamish about spending that much since I now live here, and there's no "what the hell, we're on vacation" justification. I spend enough going out a couple of times a week at just the more pedestrian spots.

It’s at 32 Grand Case Boulevard just across from the sporting field.
