My fav place in Simpson Bay are not availalbe and we are hoping to secure 2 weeks end of January through beginning of February. I would assume Christmas winds are pretty much over at this time? Really want BEACHFRONT! Perhaps there are other parts of the island that would suit me? I also hope to find a good "yoga" studio! There are sections I see on line that I am not familiar with so ??? Thanks for any advice!

We rented an Air B&B in Orient Village for March 2023. Stayed there for a week in March of 2022, and were mostly satisfied. Place had a king sized bed, and a quiet A/C unit. It was a 5 minute walk to a bakery, grocery store, and numerous restaurants. It was a 10 minute walk to Orient Beach. It had a washing machine - which cuts down on the amount of clothing that you have to lug around.
We paid about $120/night. Most of the hotels in the Orient Bay area were about $300/night; though prices may be a bit better this year, because the dollar and the euro are at par.
You can go on the Air B&B website, and type in "Sucrier", to get photos of the unit. It also has a small kitchenette, if you want to cook, but we eat out every night.

The Horny Toad is also beachfront. Terrific innkeepers, gated parking, fully equipped kitchen, nightly "happy hours" (BYOB) where you can meet your fellow guests. A delightful place.

The innkeepers have a tenant who conducts yoga twice/week at Island Rebel Yoga.

We liked Azure Boutique Hotel. No frills but affordable and right on the beach.

Well, let me toss in our favorite Simpson Bay Beach hotel--Mary's Boon. I really like the vibe--funky and weird, in the positive sort of way. But then, we're weird too and prefer the garden units over the ocean front ones. Who knows if any of these suggested places have availability though.

Look into Atrium, Royal Palm, Simpson Bay Resort and Flamingo. All timeshare properties but rentals are available.

BSV right on the beach almost in the water sometimes nice no frills condos. Mary’s Boon also great beachfront hotel all the services you would expect of a small hotel. Rooms for about any budget. Great beach bar and restaurant, small pool. Definitely a fun , funky , pretty property, nice people , big beach not really crowded. Only problem is they book up fast.

What the deal with the Morgan, I've heard thin walls, not too private, as you can hear talking, etc. ??? Looks like a great location, but...
