Good Morning. J B direct from Boston late departure 1 1/2 hrs Late arrival. Lots of Turbulence from tropical storm. On arrival overcast and no less than 700 people waiting to get inside to Que for immigration. 1hour 20 minutes shuffle to courteous agent then into luggage belt area to retrieve our bags. Watched same luggage cycling through over and over before someone announce JB luggage wasn’t on belt but stacked by the bottom of old arrival ramp|/ stairs. Out we went to be greeted by over 200 passengers squeezed into a group under overhang while a monsoon blew by with torrential sideways rain and wind gust up to 40 mph. Met up with Friends from Ft. Lauderdale who surprised my wife for our 47th anniversary. Off to AAA for paperwork and off we went to venture through Maho village/Mullet Bay to Rainbow Beach Club stay for the week. Still heavy rain All the way. Mullet road from start to end under 2 plus feet of water. Met property mgr. Very late for check in. Unit is very nice with views and private roof top deck. Went across the street to newly opened market for quick shopping,drinks, snacks while another monsoon came in with winds up to 50. Drinks chartecuiere (sp 😜) board and off to bed. This morning is very windy but partly sunny and views are Great. Seas are angry so it won’t be a swimming day. Off to get Pastry’s for breakfast. Gotta figure out how to post pictures

Wow, what a wild weather start for your trip! I didn't know it was supposed to be like that on SXM. Glad you arrived ok.
